About me: ART CAFE PROJECT IS LOCATED HERE ON MY SPACE AND AT
LABOCA CAFE, 6, UPPER PRINCESS SQ, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, UK. (NEXT TO WHERE THE CENTRAL LIBRARY USED TO BE UNDER BEWICK COURT APPARTMENTS.
The Art Cafe project is an independent entity created, guided and presented by Andrew and Brian, both of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The aim of ArtCafe is to expose everyday people to ART in everyday places, i.e. cafes, and challenge the pompous and elitist idea that ART is for the few! We enjoy being political and welcome any involvement with organisations or individuals whom we feel present a valid and interesting perspective on life (as long as it sits comfortably with our morals). It also exists to provide affordable solo exhibition opportunities to new and up and coming artists who need a leg up with their CVs as well as allowing well establsihed artists try something small and different without the constraints of public expectation.

Hi Guys...long time no myspace land for me, been busy in the studio working. New artwork is complete and aome of it on show at a little music and art bar down here. Good luck with the new show. Will send up some prints sometime soon if thats still ok.
Hello 2009 is going to be a good year, we had a good time in Sitges strange place for pubs on new years eve, they dont open till 1.30 but we little chaps enjoyed it.a sunny day on the 1st. home now .

Bet we could enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this place. Knee is improving (albeit slowly) and I've just had computer fixed so am feeling alot happier. It is so good to know that I have so many friends who are willing me better again and absolutely fabulous to be back on My Space again. You are right about the weather so we will have to direct all our energies to make the sun shine from us to cheer up all those who are being miserable so and so's, ha, ha, ha!!!
