I am a mixed-media artist that currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. Right now, my main medium is digital/mixed-media photography and video/film production.
Many of my images have cinematic, subtle narratives that the viewers can take anywhere she or he pleases.
My images tend to go the darker way of things, but I think if you look hard enough, there is joy and hope, simply because I truly love what I do!
So my art may have a flair for the more melancholy and dramatic, but it is like the old blues tunes from way down south in this country, many years ago. Those songs might have had pain in them, but there is a joy in venting it out and sharing our commonality with other human beings!
Life can be a hard road, through creativity and expression, it helps to turn that ragged path to something of our own design.
Art without an audience is mere therapy for the creator, but art SHARED has the potential of becoming a thing of power and grace, a inspiring relic for whomever might choose that one long look or gaze...
If you have a strong reaction to a work, postive or negative, then something is going on!
A work of art is a gift from the constant few who choose to make the creative path their reason to live.
At the heart of it though, works of art are physical manifestations from the collective mind and soul of humanity, and the universe as well...No matter how base, or how beautiful!
As you will see, like many artists before me, I celebrate the power of feminine energy and beauty.
Lately however, I have begun to slowly shift, and I feel more abstract and varied work is on the way.
With all that said up above, my palette may change to shine more visual light, who knows where my creativity may take me...
But for now, I hope you respond strongly with what you see!
