Forthcoming releases include a 10 track album called COW LANGUAGE on SERIES TWO RECORDS, due out shortly (i.e. when I pull my finger out and get the artwork finished).
Tiny Islands is due to appear shortly on an EGGNOG SERIES TWO EP CLUB release.

My name's Torquil MacLeod. About 20 years ago I was in a very obscure band called Reserve (pics, tunes etc. on the SOMBRERO RECORDS page). You can find out more than you probably want to know about that band in a recent interview HERE (I'm second on the left in the pic if you really want to know what I looked like 20 years ago. No, thought not).
Since then I've done the sorts of things you do between your mid 20s and mid 40s, but carried on making music for my own amusement, originally on an ancient Akai reel-to-reel which I've been using since 1982, then an aged Tascam portastudio (until I got fed up of fixing it every 10 minutes with rubber bands and needle & thread), finally entering the digital age in 2007.
This technological leap forward coincided with my discovery of MySpace and so it was that The Atom Miksa Reservation lurched into existence. It's no more or less than the sound of one man having a lot of fun in his back room and if you like it I'm very pleased. Chances of future audience-bothering are strictly limited, but you never know...

I thought I was dead! Someone said I died in a pile up on the m25 with James Dean, but just like Gloria Gaynor "I survived"!
