WINNER OF THE ..2006 AND 2007.. ANNUAL HOUSTON ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION CHARITY VIDEO GAME TOURNAMENTS!!!

I am Bradley Schneider. I was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in a large suburban area called Katy. I have two happily married parents and a happily married brother with a happy baby. I live in Los Angeles, making my way to becoming a successful actor.

Childhood interests include video games, legos, G.I.Joes, X-men, soccer, and cub scouts. I always hated reading but developed a love of writing oddly enough. At 13, I had my Bar Mitzvah, followed by my Eagle Scout ceremony at 16. In High School, I spent the vast majority of my time doing theatre. I was cast in some shows and won some awards. Some time in there, I decided that acting was my desired career path.

The University of Texas was my destination for a good college education. I earned a BA in Theatre & Dance and a Business Foundations Minor. At some point late in my college career, I became enthusiastically addicted to supporting sports. I attended live games/matches in football, baseball, tennis, basketball, softball, and hockey. My grandma lived in Austin, so I visited her quite often. That was the best part of college, other than the girls, the parties, the computers, the education, and the friends. Aside from video games, I spent most of my time outside of class doing theatre of course.

After college, I briefly had a job to build up some cash before moving out to Los Angeles, California. Since moving to LA, I have worked on many projects in the entertainment industry. I’ve done extra work on so many shows, as well as actual work on movies, internet projects, commercials, print work, video games, and theatre. My first audition was for a show called “The Big Audition” at The Next Stage Theatre in Hollywood. Sure enough I got the part, and I’ve been a member of the company ever since. I’ve also done some directing, producing, and writing.

So many things are a part of me now. Current interests include: improvisation, acting, video games, scrap booking, collecting fortune cookie fortunes and coins, eating sweet potato tempura and BBQ, drinking Thai Tea with Boba in it, watching and following sports, competing in fantasy sports online with friends, being randomly witty, designing websites, laughing with my girlfriend Cully, hanging out with friends, watching movies, watching television, spending countless hours on the intraweb, yelling at Los Angeles drivers, staying up late with insomnia, and making lanyards. I spend many hours per week playing Halo3 or Natural Selection (a Half-life mod) with friends online that I’ve made over the years. I play a lot of Sudoku, Scrabble, Scramble, and Freecell, and I owe much of my personality to Tetris and Zelda (really?).

Sports have become a huge part of my life. It’s ironic because I never cared about sports as a kid, even growing up in Texas. Nowadays I play Fantasy Baseball, Football, and Hockey (which I won, even though I don’t really care about the hockey). I love college football more than anything, especially when Texas wins. I attended both the 2005 and 2006 Rose Bowls, where Texas and Vince Young vanquished our foes. I went to the World Series in 2005 when the Astros lost to the White Sox. The previous season, I attended one of the greatest post-season games of all time when the Astros beat the Cardinals in Game 5 of the NLCS on a 3-run blast by Jeff Kent.

My goal in life is to one day have children. Actually, I wish to one day have grandchildren. My grandparents have been such an inspiration to me over the years, and I’d enjoy being like them. My Grama is the only one I have left, and I love her very much. She means a lot to me. My whole family is precious to be, but none more so than my new nephew Mason. After only being born a few hours, he was the most important person to me in the entire world.

Past jobs include: Waiter at The Mason Jar, Food Prep/Salesman at Heavenly Ham, Theatre Critic for the Austin American-Statesman, Producer/Director/Writer/Actor at The Next Stage Theatre, Photographer/Salesman at The Picture People, Salesman/Barista at Teavana, and Factory Worker/Sales/Accounting/Purchasing/Secretary/Administrative Assistant/Computers/Forklift Driver for Accumulators, Inc. Seriously, legally driving that Forklift by myself was one of the greatest days of my life.

My quotes:
“Act like you will live forever, but live like there's no tomorrow"
"You can't cure writer's block with an axe"
"Sometimes one must disbelieve in something in order to appreciate it"
"Sometimes you need to go back to get ahead faster"
