The Theatrical Octopus's Interests
|
| General |
As I stated several times before, I'm a performer to the soul; I love acting, especially Shakespeare. I also enjoy other forms of art, such as drawing, writing (poetry, fiction, screenplays, you name it) and artistic film making.
I greatly enjoy mountain biking and Zen meditation, as well as reading novels and brainstorming for concepts. I'm a method actor, so I also consider analyzing and becoming whatever character I'm currently playing to be a hobby as well.
Video games are a must. Sure, some of you may sneer, but I find it's a great way to unwind. RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Cross are some of my favorites.
I love listening to music, particularly while working out, biking, or doing something physical like that. | | Music | My favorite band of all time has to be The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I could listen to them any day of the week, any mood I'm in. I'm also a big fan of U2, and more recently Rufus Wainwright. I also like Beck, Moby, Nobuo Uematsu, Carlos Santana, Breaking Benjamin, Saliva, Godsmack, The Gorillaz, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Looking Glass, Shinedown, Elvis, The Seatbelts, stuff like that. I love insturmentals and soundtracks, particulary really effective ones from movies I love such as 28 Days Later and its sequel. The Final Fantasy games have beautifully composed music, especially 6 and 7. I'm really into musicals as well, with The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Martin Guerre, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Avenue Q and other similar ones being among my favorites. | | Movies | The Lon Chaney Phantom of the Opera, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, There Will be Blood, Braveheart, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Village, Unbreakable, Minority Report, The Count of Monte Cristo, Orange County, The Evil Dead series, Gangs of New York, American Psycho, the origional Night of the Living Dead, Reservoir Dogs, The Prestige, Pan's Labrinth, The Pursuit of Happyness, The Man Who Laughs, Les Miserables, The Fountain, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit, Jakob the Liar, What Dreams May Come, Fight Club, Sin City,The Italian Job, and a few others. | | Television | Chapelle's Show, WWE RAW and Smackdown, ECW, South Park, Pinky & the Brain, The Office, etc. | | Books | First and foremost, Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. Next, Phantom by Susan Kay is a must for any and all serious fans out there. The Zombie Survival Guide is an essential that I have on me at all times, and World War Z is possibly the most depressing book I've ever read. I love reading Mick Foley's stuff, too. For losing so many brain cells to chairshots, the man is incredibly smart and funny as hell. And Wuthering Heights. | | Heroes | The girl of my dreams. |

The Theatrical Octopus's Blurbs |
About me:
100%
They call me Sean of the Dead.
I am the world's greatest hero. Seriously, when the world is overrun by zombies, I'm the guy you'll want on your team. You'll see. Anyway, I wish I was alive during the Victorian era. Things were a lot more romantic back then, and you didn't get yelled at for opening a door for a lady (true story). I love pro wrestling and getting hit with stuff. I'm going to change the world. My favorite animal is the octopus because they're more intelligent than most people I know. I love my nephews and my niece. I'm a hardcore Scottish sonuvagun. I feel most at home on a stage or underneath one. I give great hugs. I hate fake friends. I hate chain letters. Honestly, if I see one more of those things telling me if I don't repost and send it to a billion other people that I'll be single until I'm 45 or die tomorrow, I'll find whoever started it and give them a boomstick migrane. I'm an Earth element. I love affection (nyuk nyuk). Les Miserables changed my life. I miss my brother. Godspeed, Matt. 2005 was the best summer of my life. I'm obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera. I like to fight. I have scars on my knuckles and one on my forehead. I weasled my way through high school. To this day, I'm still suprised I managed to do it. My favorite curse words are bastard and damn, because if you're creative, you can have a lot of fun with them (bastardize, damnation). Music is the rhythm of my life. I want to travel the world. Anything else you'd like to know? Just ask.
