About me:
THIS SITE IS NOT JUST FOR THEATRE STUDENTS! ITS FOR EVERYONE!

The Theatre School at DePaul University was founded as the Goodman School of Drama in 1925 and joined DePaul University in 1978. A fully-accredited school within a major urban university, the Theatre School is Midwest's oldest theatre conservatory. Known for its highly structured program, the school has strived and met a standard of excellence in American professional theatre training for 80 years.

**NOW ON THE MERLE RESKIN STAGE**

HOLES

The Theatre School at DePaul University presents HOLES , written and adapted for the stage by Louis Sachar, and directed by John Jenkins, as the opening production of the 2009-2010 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences Series.

Fourteen year-old Stanley Yelnats’ bad luck lands him in Camp Green Lake where every day he is forced to dig holes under the hot Texas sun. Adapted from the book, which won the National Book Award and Newbery Medal, HOLES is full of Stanley’s unexpected discoveries; local history, buried treasure, tall tales, and true friendship . This production is recommended for ages 9 and up.

October 27th - December 5th, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am and Saturdays at 2:00pm

To buy tickets, call our Box Office at 312-922-1999 or visit our website at http://theatreschool.depaul.edu

Thanks for the add--I've walked your halls and they are fine, filled with even finer students.

We have some pretty good ones ourselves, mind you, but I'm glad we're sharing some faculty and building some cross country bridges bewteen our two schools. Thank you for sharing Lenora Inez Brown with us this summer, we're looking forward to her joining our guest faculty.
