   About Mike D’Errico
"Mike D. is easily the best drummer i've ever seen live, and the kid's like 21.. sporadic free jazz & breakcore drumming with metal on metal percussion and huge, booming drums complimented the backing tracks very, very well. people loved it." -The Vomit Arsonist

Created in the attic of a religious gathering house in a small seacoast town, the Attic Bat is a musical movement which attempts to universalize the nature of sound through a constant exploration of genre and style. The result is an ultimate tension which involves the live versus the electronic, the ambient vs. the groove, id consumes ego as self destructs. It walks among humans as it digs for more, unyielding to false bootyshakers you may dance or cry. Embrace this sound and celebrate, for tomorrow we move on.

"Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see; And make their loins continually to shake." -Psalm 69:23

It does not say enough to say that your recital was inspiring, humbling and brilliant. I look forward to seeing where you go next and hope to collaborate with you in the near future.
