Our Companies History:
Born and raised in Orange County, California, brothers, Brandon (Founder and C.E.O. of The Attic Venues™) and Bryan Runion (Founder and President of The Attic Venues™), began For The Public Productions in January 2001, a production company which fueled the local music scene in Hot Springs, Arkansas for many years to come. They booked and promoted local shows in empty buildings, fields, churches, or anywhere they could find. Seeing the great need for a venue for the new musical movement, after four years of hard work and many shows, The Attic was born.
With the first hard strum, and a fine tuned hit from the snar, The Attic in Hot Springs, Arkansas opened on July 22, 2005. Over the next three years, The Attic built a strong and respectable reputation for hard-hitting shows bringing show-goers, bands, and patrons a variety of local and touring showcases from around the world.
Setting goals and having a vision is what started The Attic Venues. And with those, we took a new direction. In 2007, The Attic expanded its reach by opening a new location in Orange County, California. With the help of Brian Walkwitz, Dave Ramirez and Michael Doyle, our dreams of outreach to a wider audience became a reality. For two years, The Attic Orange County was coordinating successful with excellent talent and dedicated promotion, but after a long, two year run, Brian, Dave, and Michael stepped down from The Attic. Bryan, Founder and President of The Attic Venues, will be taking up the California location. The Brothers are currently looking forward to the next step forward in their companies endeavors, however, much new infrastructure is needed and will be handled with careful consideration. We hope to see you all out at our up and coming shows. We are excited to see what the future holds for The Attic Venues™ and we thank you for your support!
