The Attics got together in 2004, and since then have progressed into the band you see today. Recently the band has gone from strength to strength. Writing their own material and also playing the occasional cover.
In November 2006 The Attics recorded their version of Sum 41’s Motivation and entered the well known ’Rockschool Competition’ run by XFM radio.
The Attics were anounced winners live on XFM and their prize was to open up XFM’s Winter Wonderland with bands such as The Kooks, The Feeling, Boy Kill Boy, The Automatic, Tenachious D And Kasabian plus £1000 for music equipment for their school.

The Attics are now in the process of recording & writing new material for 2008 whilst also currently trying to concentrate on their GCSE’s.
