The Aubrey drive is a Melodic driven, in your face, Power pop, Rock band that is steadily making its way through the Florida music scene. The band originally formed in early September 2006, in West Palm Beach, Florida. In January of 2007, the band recorded an independent E.P, "Films Write Themselves" before even taking their newly developed sound to the stage. Shortly after the completion of "Films Write Themselves" the band hit the stage with raw energy and an almost acrobatic live performance. The Aubrey Drive is not one to take their live performance lightly. The band views their live performance as a chance to set them apart from the average local show one might attend. The band has opened for a few larger acts such as The Ataris, Forever the Sickest Kids, Dave Melillo, Farewell, Amber Pacific and Flogging Molly. The Aubrey Drive also had the rare opportunity to play the main stage at the Florida Music Festival opening for Flogging Molly. The band recently completed their first tour which took off in Florida and continued through the month of July, finally coming to an end in Tennessee. The band is now working vigorously on their next album and hope it will be even more successful than their prior one.
