The Avarice is currently a four piece from East Sussex. The band has been around for about 5 years with occasional line up changes. It's quite difficult to place the band in any current genres because it doesn't really sound like any other bands out there, Though straight up rock would be under no circumstances wrong.
The Avarice provide strong rhythms with piercing melodies and raunchy vocals linking them with bands such as Pearl Jam in style. Clear influences of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Hendrix and Incubus can be heard throughout The Avarice’s repertoire blending heavy rock, verging at times on metal, with blues creating a big sound that pulls the audience in. If you like what you hear from the player add us, or if you want us to play/support let us know!
