The Bad Scene was formed in 2006 in the New Jersey suburbs of New York City. Drummer Fabio Amato, bassist Adrian Villalobos, and singer Mario Caldararo came together to uniquely blend indie, reggae, punk, and ska sounds in a region where not much of it was going on. The band pressed on and in 2007 "A Classy Mess" was released. The debut album laid the groundwork for things to come with a mishmash of energetic, catchy, yet hauntingly stimulating songs.
Now in 2008 the Bad Scene has finished recording their 13-track second album "When Things Get Weird." With its great diversity of sound and emotion, the album is easily a collection of the band's most inspired work yet. A formal release date is yet to be set but you can expect it to be VERY soon! For now, check out the tunes in MySpace or just come out to a show!

You guys sound great! I'd like to catch your show in Paramus in April and shoot some high-def video of you. Is that cool? The video I have of you from the Bitter End was your last song of the night. I had come to film the band playing after you but thought you guys were well worth turnin' on the camera for. Let me know. Peace, Deb Sherr www.DebSherr.com
