The Bad Spells were born when guitarist/vocalist Russell Hughes and bassist/vocalist Max Hinojosa moved to New York from Austin, TX. They ultimately met drummer Angelo Merendino and the line-up was solidified. The Bad Spells hit the NYC scene hard, creating a buzz and leaving their mark where ever they performed.
