We live in Asheville, NC. There are two of us. We are married.
Recently we've had four children who are now in the band: David Barrett (drums), Danny Resner (Lead Guitar), Mike Ackley (guitar, vocals), and Nathan Ribner(bass).
The Baker Family is an indie/folk/dub band that plays original (danceable) songs written by Stuart Baker, Liz Baker, and Mike Ackley.
It was the winter of 1984, and President Reagan had recently been elected to a second term of office when Mr. and Mrs. Baker first met in the well-known Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
