We live in Austin, TX. There are two of us. We are married.
Recently two of our four children were drafted into the Navy - - so no drummer and no lead guitar. Nathan Mathematic Ribner, our oldest child of 21 years is of no use to the government due to his colorblindness and deafness in his left ear - - so there are three of us now - - instead of five.
The Baker Family is an indie/folk/dub band that plays original (danceable) songs written by Stuart Baker, Liz Baker, and Nathan Ribner.
It was the winter of 1984, and President Reagan had recently been elected to a second term of office when Mr. and Mrs. Baker first met in the well-known Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Both travelers had arrived on 23 December at Illinois' grandest airport on account of coincident layovers en route to visit their respective families for the Christmas holiday...SEE BLOG FOR FULL BIO

Yo The Baker Familyasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen.
