Let's see where to begin...
The Band ef was constructed in Montreal in the year of our Cosmic Lord, 2000.
They were deconstructed in Montreal in 2004. Then reconstructed in Saskatoon 2006. These well-rested underachievers with all their cleverness, good looks and modesty have managed to record only 1 full-length album and an EP. Recently rising from the ashes of their latest album and their 1979 Dodge Gaucho rocketship, the band ef are about to promote to the rank of "over underachievers" with a brand new QUADRUPLE album hopefully coming out sometime before 2010 but no later than 2011, there are no promises just love and lack of desire, or something like that.
So roll out the red shaggy carpet here comes The Band ef...to be continued!
What's worse than a pie in the face? A pie in the face that's been laced with arsenic. We think you're tops. Swing by for a complimentary mp3 download!
You are the Bees Knees! hehe I love to use antiquated expressions! Right now we're working on our new songs. We hope to achieve world domination before your next album comes out in 2010. Or 2011. Our new direction is a mix of Rap, Trip Hop, Electronica, Jazz and Pop (I insisted on this). But all with a Rock edge, and lots of Parental Advisory type material. Hey Ef, I've always loved your songwriting. Keep it strong!
Don't ask why but the Laundry Song was kind of my theme song during my recent backpacking adventures through Greece. Haha Great song man. And what solar powered studio?! When I get back lets dabble in there and try out some of your kick ass soap!
The rest of the band would like to say the new songs are awesome, and that we love the band ef as well. Nice work duder. Oh, and one question... Is Pope Ef still alive, or did he vanish over the years somewhere?
hey ef! long time...too long....anyways, just wanted to let you know that my great friends from montreal, plants and animals, are playing in yer town at amigos on dec 10. they are great guys, i'm sure you'd enjoy the music and the hang...can't find yer email address so hopefully you get this. thought i'd give ya the tip!
First, thanks for adding us. Second, how have you been? It's been a while. I used to play with Brian in The Stop! I've been with The Whatevers for over a year now, and it's going pretty good (I'm still doing some of the old Stop! songs). I always wondered what happened to you, but I'm happy to see you're still rockin' it. By the way, I like the songs that you have up here. Finally, thanks to Wide Mouth Mason for helping me find you.
Hey Ef, Thank you for accepting our friend request and for your interest in the provincial election. Your vote counts! Feel free to drop by any time to post a comment. You rule!
Hey Ef - nice to hear from ya! And thanks for listening! I also checked out your tracks and love your "wiskey stew" all to heck! It reminds me a little of Blue Angel Cafe (which was Sauliman's favorite). Hope you're well! cheers, nic
