Grinning like a cat. Dancing like a rabid dog. Compelled to swing from the rafters like a tune possessed baboon....are these good qualities? The Bandinis think so. And so do the growing zoo of fans who regularly pile into their shows. With impeccable tastes, a wry ear for hooks and a healthy disdain for over posturing, the Reading five piece are quickly cementing themselves as a 'must see' live act.
James Jam (NME) hailed previous demo, Japanese Radio as 'the best song the Strokes never wrote'. So with that in mind, the band tested the theory with a short tour of Manhattan and Brooklyn in May 2007. With radio play in New York and Tokyo, and a rapidly filling tour schedule, it is only a matter of time before the world is po-going to the international language of Bandini.
"guitary, rock around the clock groovsters... the best thing about this band is their enthusiasm - they spend the whole set grinning like cheshire cats, singing along to all their own tunes even if not miked up. Its a beautiful thing being not too cool to enjoy."www.victoriasjukebox.com
