Last but not least, Ringo, the Amazing Drummer! Larry is his Manager! Ringo doesn't sing, but he is the steadiest drummer we've ever heard outside of Charlie Watts. (Picture Coming Soon, hey anyone out there got a picture of a laptop?)
Hey, just a quick announcement. We have added an extra Brand Spanking New Misfit Jukebox here on this page (below). Now mind you, Some of these songs you requested may have some ooopsies in them, but hey, some of these songs were done at a jam and it was a ton of fun. That is what it's all about right? We will keep adding more songs for you. Enjoy!!
The Band of Misfits began when 2 great friends and neighbors, Al Poole and Dale (Cruz) Good, began jamming together in their conjoined HUGE backyards, for fun. With almost weekly campfires, friends, family, and neighbors started dropping by to enjoy the music and atmosphere. With Als strong knowlege of classic and modern country, and Cruz adding smooth bass to Als Waylon-esc vocals and guitar, The Misfits were born. Their birthplace: Corunna Ontario.
A couple of years later, Brenda Sue Morehouse came to town and fell in love with their sound, and was fortunate that they asked her to be a part of the Misfits. She jumped at the chance to sing with Al! She brought along vocals, guitar, keyboards, and her redneck barefoot tambourine playing. Now singing duets with Al, and adding female classic country, along with some classic rock, more and more people, young and old, are becoming Band of Misfit fans. Brenda hails from upstate NY and lived many years in Georgia. Brendas background includes several NECMA awards (Northeast Country Music Awards) back in 1986 which includes: Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Best New Band, and Entertainer of the Year. In 1982, she played with Aged in the Hills and won the Talent Search with WGNA. A trip to Nashville, and a recording session were the prize.
Soon, Larry Good, joined his brother Dale in the Band of Misfits, adding strong vocals, killer lead guitar and keys to the mix. This made The Band of Misfits a powerhouse of harmonies and added even more tunes to the ever growing list. Brothers, Cruz and Larry, started off playing their prospective instruments at very young ages. Larry was front man in several of his early bands. They have played all across Ontario in very popular rock bands for many years to thousands of people.
The Band of Misfits are fast becoming favorites in the Sarnia Lambton region! The tunes you are listening to right now, on this page, were recorded at one of our fun jamming sessions. Like what you hear? Book The Band of Misfits Now!
