Wheel*er/ is a Rock and Roll group based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The music is tight, the presence is known and this band has been working hard in the trenches of the Atlantic Canadian club circuit since 2001.
Originally from St. Andrews -by -the Sea N.B. Wheeler made the leap to the musical center of Atlantic Canada (Halifax) four years ago to take their music to another level, and cast off the shadows of being a small town jam band to becoming a full blown rock show.
Jake Hubbard and Troy Arseneault are pushing the envelope of Rock n Roll with tasteful guitar licks and tricky harmonies that leave you humming the songs at the end of an evening.
Trevor Proude has been holding down the percussion section in wheeler for over four years and has musical lineage in his family tree being the son of east coast jazzman Garth Proude.
Sam Nijjar’s stage presence and musical sensibilities solidified his role in Wheeler as not only bass play, but producer on the bands latest E.P. “Eat Your Heart Out” Recorded at Fortress Studios in Halifax.
Wheeler highlights over the years have included winning a CBC/Galaxie Rising Stars Award and appearances at the 2008 ECMA’s Sennheiser Stage, The Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, Paddlefest, Privateer days, and Riverfest. The band was also an Atlantic Canadian finalist in the Bodog Battle of the Bands competition.
Wheeler has been featured twice on Halifax's NEWCAP radio station Q104's "Route 104" and is currently writing new material for their third installment.

Hey Troy and Group - if you aren't too worn out from Music Week, come over to Dartmouth tonight - promises to be a great show at Celtic Corner - Brad Leaton goes on at 9-us and then the Danger Bees.
That new song makes me feel like a hot-blooded-hip-shakin'-jive talkin'-love makin'-sugarcube suckin'-leather pant-wearin'- supercharged- son-of-a- bitch! If that song was a bike, I would ride it. I WOULD RIDE THAT GODDAMN BIKE!
