Barb Hamilton, - guitarist, bassist, and vocalist of more than 30 years. She does a mix of swinging/shuffle blues, gospel, 60-70’s and country, and contemporary christian/worship. Along with her four piece band, she also performs solo acoustic or as a acoustic duo with drums. She continues to lead praise & worship, always with a prophetic flow with the giftings God has given to usher His people into His presence.
Barb began playing piano at the age of 7, then violin, in a classical music setting, playing in orchestras and quartets. She also sang in church choirs and vocal ensembles while growing up.
Barb was part of an evangelistic praise band, playing bass & guitar, traveling from coast to coast in the early '80's. Then for eighteen years she was part of a large praise and worship band leading three to four services per week with a very prophetic stream. Thirteen of those years she was full time on staff as music director/worship leader, also teaching guitar and bass for grades 5-12, and adult classes. She was in Russia twice, teaching and leading praise & worship, both in churches and evangelistic meetings.

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporting this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?

I remember you. You're married to one of the Maxey boys (Dennis maybe). That was my brother Jack and some guys we used to play with. I'm Lex and do mostly a single thing nowdays - blues and some folk. I see you have some shows in the Champaign area where our kids live. We were up there just last weekend. That night you were down to Salem I was the one playing harp with you on some blues tunes.
