Spawned from the fiery pits of Melbourne, cutting their teeth in the underground theatre scene and with the taste of blood on their lips, 6 piece ensemble The Barons of Tang bastardize mainly traditional gypsy and tango feels to inappropriate perfection. With accordion, double bass, saxophone and violin to name just a few, the outfit create what they call ‘gypsy death-core’. The catchy tunes and punk ethos all tie together to mean one thing…dancing is inevitable!
Our show on Fri 11 December at the East Brunswick Club, with a huge line up featuring Mojo Juju and the Snake Oil Merchants and Mikelangelo and the Tin Star; two of our very favourite acts. Hope to see you there

I have recently put up a new track on Triple J Unearthed taken from a new project of mine, 'Story Of My Life'. This little diddy features my amazingly talented friends Mind Over Matter and the angelic voice of Sam Mcneill from Sydney's Saving Grace. If you are cool and awesome and other similar adjectives, then you can stream the track, or download it free here;
Now would be the time to let you know you can also rate and/or review the track, too, which will go far towards charting this badboy on unearthed, so I would appreciate any time taken immensely and name my first born child after you. Probably... Maybe just a thanks, but you never know!
I assure you that women/men will fall at your feet if you help me out, and fortune will favor you with ice cream and cookies.
Upon my weekly sail off the coast of North Korea, I came across a yellow spherical package afloat in the water, on the front shined a symbol divine ~|~.
Inside the package- a dusty tape reel draped in yellow cloth!
Could it be? Could this be from The Father himself?!
I believe Mandek sought me to locate this, and share it with all!
I have digitized the tape recordings, and have uploaded these offerings (~|~ Plight of the Seeker ~|~, |~ The Face ~|), onto the Myspace I’ve recently set up.
I live in a commune on the coast of North Korea with a small but devoted group of Mandekians. Together we put our heads together and composed a song in response to Mandek’s generosity! Featuring in the song is my daughter, she is only 10 but very talented!
Please take the time out of your day to listen to these hallowed songs,
