About me:
My proprietor is Darren Deicide. Walk only one block from the Journal Square train station and within my walls you'll likely hear some of the best new roots and acoustic punk that the area has to offer, as well as great music on tour. I seem to always have a 30 pack in my fridge too, though I encourage yall to BYOB since my supplies are always limited. I do not tolerate PA's! I however do tolerate debauchery, drunkiness, dancing, hootin, hollerin, revelating, and other acts of extreme hedonism. Soon I will be hostin things not so related to music such as tea parties, whiskey parties, benefits, movie screenings, and other acts of random anarchy.
The Barracks is also the central administrative building for "The Center for Advanced Rock n Roll Studies". We have majors in:
-fucking shit up (Dr. Hansen, dean)
-holding shit down (Dr. Mushi, dean)
-getting shit done (Dr. Deicide, dean)
-and of course...ruining it (Dr. Dallow, dean, Magna Cum Laude. Emphasis on "cum".)
We will be taking applications for the '08-'09 curriculum, and we look forward to a new class of outstanding individuals well versed in the rock.
