BAND BIO:
The Bastard Suns are a five-piece group from North Atlanta who perform original music comprised mostly of reggae-infused punk rock, often mixed with Irish drinking music. The Suns bring a high energy performance that is popular with both sexes and most age groups. All of the members are well into their 20’s and all are extremely dedicated to their art.
In only two short years, The Bastard Suns have released a full length album and a subsequent split CD under their label - Unable Records. The Suns are currently touring Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky & Tennessee. They have participated in the showcase at the Atlantis Music Festival in 2006 & 2007, competed and advanced to the national semi-finals in both the Bodog Battle of the Bands and The Emergenza Music Festival and competed and won first place in the Audition Atlanta 2007 contest. 2008 plans for The Bastard Suns include continuing on a regular southeast tour schedule and promoting their new release.
