Benjamin Blanco (derived from Benny Blanco in Carlito's Way in conjunction with the highest note in US Currency) and Eye.Q. (derived from his high intelligence: I.Q.) aka Justin Techno are a rap/hip-hop/experimental duo from the Bronx, New York and two of the four founders of the Record Label MMM Records. Native to the Castle Hill Projects, these former aspiring basketball players have been working together making music for just over three years. Blanco is the lyricist and song writer of the two, while Q produces, arranges, and engineers all of the beats that Blanco raps over. Blanco and Q began their careers as founding members of the rap group The Talaban NY. The group edured both much success and adversity but over time it always resulted in Blanco and Eye.Q. remaining on the same page, and with everyone else trailing. Thereafter the two decided to continue to create music utilizing only the rapper/song writer and the producer/engineer. Blanco and Q. have gone through numerous rap disputes coming up victoriously by a large margin and are now focusing on making songs that prove that they are the most versatile and talented rap duo ever. Forthcoming projects from the tandem include their debut mix tape to be released through both the internet and the streets celebrating marijuana usage and its effects and demonstrating the group's skillfulness, versatility, and outright ability to make great music. Also upcoming is the debut mixtape from the first rap group under the MMM label made up of Blanco, Eye.Q., Lil Ville, and Dynomic.
