I have been recording music in one form or another since the age of 15..from playing with sound recorded on a 2 track to being in various bands. There are tapes of all this oddness that will never be heard by others..
Bought a Boss Digital 8 Track and started recording again....trying to record proper songs but they just get weird!! And theyre all recorded pretty much in the first take....i just lack patience!
The music is a total departure from the work we do as The Beards...and doesnt represent the clubs in anyway what-so-evaaa....

Brittle Stars- from acoustic, post-rock/space-rock stylings, reverb drenched, slow, melancholic acoustic tunes to sonic detuned drone to layered orchestral minimalist electronics and minimal ambient piano works.....acid stoner drug music basically !

Monokomm- lo-fi experimental analogue electronics/sound manipulation using malfunctioning equiptment, childrens toys, battered keyboards, live recordings/found sounds, old PC music programs for kids...anything that makes an electronic sound treated via the 8-Track and various guitar pedals.

KBeard- a Djing/visuals thing. If i'm Djing with vinyl chances are i'm playing obscure electronica, 'dancefloor friendly' IDM/electronica, Electro, minimalist stuff, soul,funk, disko mutations and long lost gems with very little attempt to mix (if a track is that good it should be played from beginning to end! i dont want to hear the middle of a track just cos thats the only good bit!). If its a laptop set then it'll be mixed, mashed up..twisted...and a mix of anything...if it mixes and works then its played...anything from obscure electro, IDM, Breaks, Grime, electroprogtekhouse, mash-ups, punkfunk,80s pop, digital splice 'n' paste-ups, bootleg remixes, trainspotters electronic music, mentalist beats...a bit of V/Vm in every set (and why not ?)....a spak-jackin' treat.
