About me:
..The Beat Goes On
closes on Sunday 1 NovemberThis massive exhibition is inspired by Liverpool’s love for and contribution to music for the past 60 years, celebrating the city’s venues, bands and creativity. The exhibition features Echo & the Bunnymen, Cream, The Farm, The Zutons, Eric's Nightclub, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and much more! (Including another band you may have heard of, called The Beatles.) It will runs until 1 November 2009 and is completely free!
November’s Top Ten has now finished – our congratulations to Little Miss Strange who are joining Jessica’s Ghost, Ellewood, GK & The Renegades, Glass Asylum and Ellewood on the digital jukebox in the exhibition.
The Beat Goes On polls have now closed. It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to host some of the best local music around in our monthly Top Tens. A heartfelt and HUGE thank you to all the bands who took part, everyone who listened and everyone who voted.
If you haven’t been to the exhibition at World Museum Liverpool yet, then get yourself down there – as many of you have already reported back, it really is a fantastic experience.
Keep on posting, messaging, and telling us about your bands – The Beat Goes On! Remember, there is a notice board in the exhibition space where you can post your flyers, posters and gig notices. Just hand them to the info desk staff and we’ll do the rest.
