After sixteen years, six albums, many live gigs and the comings and goings of many members, The Beautiful Few have put their feet up. However, a new track 'The Frankston Line Singalong' is just out on the PopBoomerang compilation Electric & Eclectic. It features numerous vocalists inclusing Mikelangelo, Oliver Mann and Anthony Atkinson. No live shows are planned for the band at this stage but little bits of new recordings have been done. Meanwhile, thier older albums find favour in countries such as Israel and Finland. The Beautiful Few

On Friday 30th September, BF guitarist Pete McKeown, myself and the idiosyncratic Ron Rude team up for a one-off performance of Few songs, Rude songs and stories of the perils of buying the Foreigner 4 album at 14 and being Australia's oldest man. All this takes place between 6PM and 9PM at the opening of The Distance Collective, a collection of works by Sydney artists. It's all happening at the Brunswick Arts Space, 2a Little Breese St, Brunswick.

The Beautiful Few

A Fitzroy Romance, a new play of mine, set around Brunswick St and the sadly missed Punters Club opens on Wednesday May 18 until Sunday May 29 at the La Mama Courthouse, 349 Drummond St, Carlton.
