Why did we start The Beautiful Ones?

[Biography]
When Vanessa was two, the family moved to a different Parisian suburb, Villiers-sur-Marne. A few years later, Vanessa started dance lessons. When the town newspaper did a piece on one of the recitals, Vanessa's photo was the one they printed.
When she was eight years old, Vanessa sang on the French television show L'Ecole des Fans (The School of Children). Her uncle Didier Pain knew the show's pianist and got her on. She sang the song "Emilie Jolie and the Big Bird" from the musical "Emilie Jolie." Besides the ballet shows, The School of Fans was her first taste of performing for a crowd - and she liked it.
Then at the tender age of 14, Vanessa scored her first hit single with the song "Joe Le Taxi" from her very first album M&J. It was a hit in 15 countries. She went on to release 6 other albums, which all did very well in the French music charts.
Vanessa, however, is more famous in France for her acting. She starred in her first film, Noche Blanche (White Wedding) in 1989, and went on to win a Cesar for it (The Cesars are the French equivalent of the Academy Awards). After that she went on to star in 9 other films
Besides singing and acting, Vanessa is also a model. She's been modeling for Chanel since 1990. She starred in her first tv ad for "Chanel No. 5" in 1990.
