Always unforeseeable, riding over music that invites to imagine the wild presence from Grinderman, schizophrenic structures from Battles, the blow from The National, the sadistic nerve from The Mars Volta, the intimist anger from Low.
On 9th March 2009, Of Our Cornea is published & launched by their own hands with the independent label In This Area. An album recorded at the acclaimed Blind Records and their own studio and label, In This Area Records, finally mastered by Nick Watson at Fluid Mastering, Hammersmith, London. It takes them to be part of the Canadian Music Week in Toronto and to burn the underground scene of the crushing New York.
Performed more than 200 shows around the world in a short time. Crossing the world with the aerial theatre company Puja¡ from Mexico to Singapore, stopping in Canada, coming back to England, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, France, Croatia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Spain. Including stages as Trafalgar Square, Quebec Summer City Festival, Pukkelpop Festival, Zommerparkfest, European Athletics Opening Celebration or Singapore Arts Festival. Audiences from 100 to 80.000, tv & radio transmissions & newspaper & magazine reviews, pictures & covers.
Winners of the national rock contest in 2008 at Fundacion Canal with Sony BMG producers and Radio 3, the most important indie music radio station in Spain, professionals on judge.
Working with the multimedia Seattle artist & performer, living now in London, synesthetic theorist, Timothy B. Layden. Translating their music into his art in movement. Paintings becoming into images behind the band playing live. Finding the balance between the human senses.

hey folks what's up. we would like to ask you something: we are finishing a documentary on our canadian tour, and we have included a few seconds of your gig in ottawa, playing "nobody knows you". we plan to release a free mp3 album of the soundtrack to be downloaded at our net label (http://sinewave.com.br), featuring all the songs we used in the film. question is: is it ok for you if we include "nobody knows you" in the soundtrack for free? we are asking this because you seem to sell the records, and we don't know if we are spoiling anything by giving away one of your songs for free :) please let us know if it's ok for you. we plan to release the soundtrack and the documentary in a few days, as it's almost ready. thanks and cheers! ~elson
