Sounds Like
We are proud to have, under one roof, 2 unique performance spaces.
The Tavistock Room: A gorgeous small room with a capacity for about 80 people. Food is served from our delicious menu and the live show is very "unplugged" in nature with the minimum of backline and the emphasis on mesmerising intimate performances.
The Theatre: One of the most beautiful stages and auditoriums in the world. Modelled on Shakespeares Globe Theatre, this round room, with domed ceiling also has an impressive Elizabethan Wooden gallery running all the way around. There is capacity for 250 people between seated and standing and again, food is served throughout the night.
Both rooms have a sound system and production team that is second to none.
The Live music shows take place Mon-Thurs every week (Wednesday in the Tavistock room and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in the Theatre) and all our gigs are webcast from the main Bedford website from 8.30pm GMT.

For artists such as James Morrison, Paolo Nutini, KT Tunstall and many more, The Bedford has played a pivotal role in their careers. The Finn Brothers, Pete Townshend, Willy Mason and a host of other well known acts have played secret or impromptu shows here and 4 nights a week, 50 weeks of the year The Bedford is committed to throwing the spotlight on hundreds of new and upcoming performers.
With free entry, great food and a unique environment The Bedford has created a place where everyone is welcome and there is a sense of real community. So why not join us and become a part of the extended family who regularly get to see and hear magical performances before anyone else.

Please bear with us in getting back to you - we get a lot of gig requests here and it takes a while to get through everyone but we WILL get back to you.
