well, no doubt the girl has the voice. sweet, sultry, punching the buttons just like billie holiday streched out on a piano in some smoky bar. but this aint 1944, and billie never had the in the pocket tools the AppleCorp offers, nor the mixing wizardry of that guy from (LA? - dunno, it's all movie magic to me, but kudos dude, cause you made it a license- magnet ) that this track offers. the emotional smackdown and the softness of the track will stand up against any of the great croonertracks, as well as any one of the few who are, on a contemporary basis, able to pull a track like this off, and i refer to Elvis Costello and 'Almost Blue', here, without shame, i might add, as one of those.
Cool Tunage. Make it one of your make out classics. just buy it.
