This saturday The beer monkeys will be playing at THE PELAW near Wardley always a good gig...... But this Friday im helping Requiem out as the drummer until a new Drummer is ready. Requiem are a 3 piece Hard Rock/Metal covers band from Sunderland with loads of pedegree Glen Howes (EX Blitzkrieg)Vocals & Guitar..... Duncan Emmerson Bass and myself on Drums "Scarey stuff" Just to say that i am only helping out as The Beer Monkeys have some gigs free that i have been able to cover..... I Hope i do a good job covering ............Requiem
i agree ,the tavern did have a bad name but i have to say ,pat the landlady has really shaken the place up in the past five years and my first night there was the best night we.ve done so far. the locals really enjoyed it and nearly all the pub was dancing, they were a very good crowed, i admit i felt the same way at first and it is very hard to get rid of a bad reputation but i had a change of mind once i actually went in there myself .......but....if it gets cancelled....im straight down to the kings head louth xxxxx
