PROJECT UNO :: MANCHESTER
we head out to the Uk city of Manchester where the Belin :: urban art team have been appointed to give a new lease of life to an old office block based on one of the busiest roads within the northern quarter.
the media hype will be crazy, the city on a standstill every effort is being made to make this project be recognized for years to come!

The team behind Belin :: Urban Art, made the move to hit the Uk back in February of 2007, since then all time has been dedicated to building relationships in preparation for summer projects.
We specialize in events organization, marketing and design and also offer intermediate service such as Press/Internet Marketing/Advertising/Web sites/Graphic Design and database mailing.
Within such a short period of time being in the Uk, things have moved rapidly and now we manage 2 artists full time and have access to some of the best graffiti artists the Uk has to offer.
We have already completed 1 large festival in Manchester, and also carried out interior work for one of the well known bars in the city along with a live graffiti exhibition/after party which was a huge success.
Within the past 5 months our hard work has gained us respect from our clients and also from other artists and management companies, and with this has allowed us to tackle bigger and more solid projects like the one you will be reading about.
Before the event we head out to Dublin and Ibiza for more festivals and after “the Belin Wall” Project is complete, we know we can take on any other city with a similar concept.

Who I'd like to meet:
CONCEPT
The Belin Wall, city based projects have been set firmly into place to resurrect lost and forgotten buildings.
The Marlsbro house in Manchester will be the Project 1, and is expected to bring allot of attention to the area, especially as this building is being totally re-formed into a media center for dance, music & arts.
Graffiti is still seen as a form of vandalism, but since being here in the Uk, the art work of Belin has captured the minds of the new generation of street writers. With this in mind we feel very strongly about education and interacting with the young creatives.
The five storey building is in such a key place in the city, as it lies on one of the busiest roads in Manchester, that connects the ring road to the Piccadilly plaza.
The effect of such a large visual piece in this format, will shock and surprise passing traffic, and demonstrates that graffiti is art and can be beautiful.
We are teaming up with “Sketch City” (just been awarded the Manchester arts council award 2007) which is an organization dedicated for young artists predominately focusing in graffiti.
This will boost the recognition of what we are doing and bring our project to the forefront of there reputation and respect in the city.
Throughout the 2 week event there will be Sketch City Events inside the building, where people can come and join the creativity and produce pieces for the project, eventually displaying at “the Belin Wall” Exhibition.
The whole of the building will be wrapped in Color, and will be so eye catching, that you will be able to see the project from miles around.
VENUE
This 5 storey building is being transformed not only externally but internally to.
The whole building will become the media & arts center of the Northern Quarter, which is considered to be the only true creative part of the city.
Dance studios, Creative Space, Photo Studios, Galleries, Recording Studios, Internet Cafe & Design Studio, are just a few things the building has to offer.
The space is possibly the largest the city has to offer for the creative for Manchester, and the owners strongly feel that such a project as the Belin Wall will catapult them into the eyes of all that can benefit from its services.
Perfectly situated at the top of the Northern Quarter it has great access for everyone, either coming by public transport or by car.
