   About The Bellows

.. ..I'll be blowed its "THE BELLOWS"!!! .. And you will be if you hunger for the dark beauty of Nick Cave's murder ballads, the poetic chaos of Tom Wait's bone machine or the world weary woes of Johnny Cash's rambling characters....

This rag tag bunch of instrument swapping musicians stir a swampy cauldron of folk, country and blues, cooking up Cossack style upbeat to wistful melancholy.

THE BELLOWS' songs are set around a dusky fairytale narrative and their stories inevitably end in the gallows or at the very least rib cracking heart ache for the songs' many unfortunate characters.......

Hey Johnny! How are you doing? It has been a while since we have met. We moved to Brighton from were we are seriously pursuing music, did some touring Europe... but next friday we will play our first show back up in Coventry. We play in the 54 (fr27feb, free entry). If you want and have time at hand it would be awesome to see you again. We developed quite a rock sound with electronic and synthy edges. How is life going for you? I love the Salvos song.. oh me oh my... I think I heard you performing that last year, is that possible? Take care and maybe see you on the 27th! Johannes
