Omnitron Diabolicus overdosing on prozac. Or David "Just Ray" Stein's mohawk.

Si Se Puede!
“With the release of his sophomore effort, Ben Joseph proves he is the antidote to contrivance and instead delivers an album that is sublime and experimental with sounds that leave the soul restless. This Progressive Pop crooner packs an emotional punch with biting lyrics and melodies that are in turn beautiful, aching and even whimsical, taking themes of love, loss, longing, and the joys and absurdities of life to someplace new..." "* * * * *."
- Sade Adelekan, Enchant Magazine
“Great sound quality. Great song writing. Good hooks. At first I had no idea how to classify it. …it reminds me of Billy Joel meets Chicago with some Steely Dan and Ben Folds mixed in. …Jeez, I still really don't know exactly what to call it.”
- Jared, Live105 105.3 San Francisco
“Ben Joseph farts flowers.”
- Kevin Caby, Director, Harold
Almost a year in the making, Ben Joseph’s big-budget sophomore release Shoot the Piano Player is at the forefront of Progressive Pop - edgy, yet melodic, sickeningly catchy, yet experimental at times. From piano breaks reminiscent of Yann Tiersen to Chicago-style horn riffs to the self-described “Cracker-Salsa,” this album has a quick pace that keeps the listener guessing and a definitive arc that makes for a great cover-to-cover listen.
Joseph is the keyboardist for Chicago funk outfit Music Republic. He also plays bass, piano and guitar with a number of other bands and projects, including the Leal Jazz Trio, Ian Patrick Cler Quintet, and the Bill Dunnam Trio. Shoot the Piano Player includes John Moxley on Drums, Clara Brill and Jackie Armada on Strings, Lizz Faye and Jonathan Eiseman on Horns, the vocals of Adrianna Echandi, the beat production of Matty McBride, and the spoken word artistry of Jel.Ani, with an appearance by Marc Joseph on Timpani and Peter Moxley on Guitar. The secret track features Coby Joseph. But don’t tell anyone. Cause it’s secret.
Y'know what's totally rad about the internet? This thing!
Isn't that cool?
