The Better Half is an edgy pop rock band based out of Cherry Hill, NJ. Formed a little under a year ago, they have created a huge buzz within the Philadelphia music scene with a collection of songs that ranges from the familiar to the unique. Their music can best be described as a mixture between the raw guitar and drum driven sound of the Foo Fighters with the memorable style of some of the more popular Nickelback songs.
“We really just write and play the kind of music we would want to listen to. We like the songs that get you out of your seat or that make you step a little harder on the gas pedal, but also the songs that make you sit back and think a little.”
Currently in the studio putting together their debut album, the band puts a huge emphasis on writing dynamic, layered songs that will stick in your head long after the song is finished. Since their first “all original” show in Dec of ’08, the band has focused on connecting musically, lyrically, and personally to their ever increasing mass of fans/supporters.

The calm mind is an accessible mind; we can explore its pathways, and mazes; we can understand it and find freedom within it.

This is the time of year that we need to stop what we are doing and help those that are left alone for the Holidays, There are many suicides this time of year because people are lonely, this is not right and we all know this {makes ya fell kinda shitty huh?}, so I would like for you all to concentrate on someone you know will be alone and do something about it! Its not hard to help someone in need, you do it because you would want someone to do it for you! I also want to say if someone does you a good deed try and do as many as you can so it starts a ripple effect! I smile when I meet a cashier even if he/she is not happy and not smiling, when you speak with them on a human level then it speaks volumes about who you are and what your’re made of! I think maybe I should not babble on but just remember we all are not really much different than each other, we laugh, sing, love, dance, & share just like we are supposed to. We need to connect with each other a lot more and show what we are made of!!!!!!!!!!
