I wasn't going to accept her comment because it was so embarrassing, but she's my oldest friend so I had to. I suppose most people go through a rough stage musically, but I think I was a relatively cool kid up until the poptastic phase. One of my favourite songs at the age of 6 was walk on the wild side (I don't think I understood the lyrics back then). Then came the fall. Oh dear. Thanks for your words of comfort though. You do deserve an answer from John. Maybe if we get to meet him again you won't need the t-shirt.

I am also a fan of Mr. Joel Gion of Brian Jonestown Massacre/Dilettantes fame, who takes tambourine playing to a whole new level. I will do my best to steal you a guitar. Not sure how that's going to work out though... I am glad you appreciate the pie picture. I didn't know whether it would ease the pain or just rub it in. There's a great pie shop by us. Haven't tried it but I've heard good things. I've got to write 9000 words over xmas! Argh! What are you up to?
