WHO IS THE PERSON BEHIND THIS PROFILE:
I am simply someone who LOVES the word of God. It gives life to me and comforts me. It reassures me of God's love and purpose for my life. It teaches and directs me when I am searching.
I am NOT a scholar. I have no formal religious education. All I do on this profile is post scripture. I do not attempt to interpret it, or edit out the parts that might offend. It is what it is, unapologetic and bold.
I use various versions of the Bible. Please do not email me to tell me that you are against a version I have used. I'm sure the next blog post will be a different version. Also, thought I appreciate people's desire to have deep email exchanges about scripture, I am a busy person and do not have time to write back and forth about it, as much as it would be a worthy endeavor. Forgive me.

My brother, we (as God's people) are expected to and COMMANDED by Him (God), to live by a different set of values than the world does. It is written that we (as BELIEVERS) [SHOULD] "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of {our} mind, that {we} may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God {for our lives}". (Rom.12:2 NKJV) When people treat us BAD, we (as Christians), should/MUST return EVIL with GOODNESS, thereby HONORING God and in turn showing respect for those He has created. We also keep our INTEGRITY and enhance our REPUTATIONS, and show our WILLINGNESS for God to deal with our enemies, according to [His] standard of JUDGMENT/JUSTICE, Amen?!
The Bible says "If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For in doing so, you will heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord will reward you". (Prov.25:21,22 Amp.) Hmmmm??!?
