WHO IS THE PERSON BEHIND THIS PROFILE:
I am simply someone who LOVES the word of God. It gives life to me and comforts me. It reassures me of God's love and purpose for my life. It teaches and directs me when I am searching.
I am NOT a scholar. I have no formal religious education. All I do on this profile is post scripture. I do not attempt to interpret it, or edit out the parts that might offend. It is what it is, unapologetic and bold.
I use various versions of the Bible. Please do not email me to tell me that you are against a version I have used. I'm sure the next blog post will be a different version. Also, thought I appreciate people's desire to have deep email exchanges about scripture, I am a busy person and do not have time to write back and forth about it, as much as it would be a worthy endeavor. Forgive me.
I just love the word of God and want to keep it in people's lives.

It is written "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for ***WELFARE and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome". (Jer.29:11 Amp.) I have found in [MY] "Walking Out of God's Word" that [IF] I called on Him in "HONEST PRAYER" (after confessing my SIN [read 1John1:9]), that...He...WOULD (He DID for me) SET...US...FREE, from ANY former thing which was NOT of HIM, Amen? Illicit Drugs, Sexual Immorality/Sexual Abuse, Alcoholism........NOT [ONE] of these names are ABOVE the name of Jesus the Christ of Nazareth, Amen?!
The Bible says "Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request". (1Chr.4:10 Amp.) Hmmmmm?!??

Mighty Man of God, it is both VITAL and IMPORTANT to REALLY understand the reason(s) for our failures, so that we can avoid repeating them in the future, Amen?! When God gives us yet [ANOTHER] opportunity to to serve Him, WE "SHOULD NOT" ALLOW OUR PAST TO DETER US from continuing to"Press towards the mark, the High Calling in Christ Jesus". We, (as Christians) SHOULD recognize this NEW opportunity to CO-LABOR with Him, and serve Him with JOY! Why Joy, (you may be asking yourself?) Well, because there [IS] a deep satisfaction in serving the Lord WHEN YOU KNOW you have TRULY sought His will (which [IS] His Word), and have followed His commands....carefully Adhering to, Trusting in, and Relying on God's instructions brings FREEDOM [AND] STRENGTH to our life [AND] does lead to GREAT JOY! (It is written "That the JOY of the Lord is our strength")...........RIGHT??????
The Bible says "For because you bore it not [as God directed] at the first, the Lord our God broke forth upon us--because we did not seek Him in the way He ordained. So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the house of Obed-edom with joy". (1Chr.15:13, 25 Amp.) Hmmmm?!??
