The Big Boss Band is from Genova (Italy) and has been created in 1996 by Stefano Dentone.
The original idea was to create a classic band following the footsteps of the Fifties' rock'n'roll heroes. Today the Big Boss Band performs original songs inspired by the traditions of blues, country and rock'n'roll.
The sound is warm and rough, made with a bunch of guitars, drums and bass. The Big Boss Band wants to make music to give good time and joy.
Now the band is working on its first self-produced album.

Thanks for the kind words. We have a lot in common. Your band is named for a classic Jimmy Reed song, Big Boss Man and my band is named for the classic John Lee Hooker song, Boogie Chillin'. Keep up the good work my friends.

We have some West Coast dates comin up in the next week and then we are off for another US tour. Watch for a bunch of new dates to be announced this week!
