Written by 25-year-old Trevor Colgan, best selling novelist of "Stretford Enders," "Big Bow Wow" premiered on RTE in the UK and has since broadcast in several other countries on such networks as OUTtv, Canada’s premier gay television network. The "Big Bow Wow" series features pioneer characters like Eric, who returns from England, comes out as gay and is dealing with consequences of partying. This is just one example of how the characters on Big Bow Wow push the boundaries of Irish representation on television.
