Jace P & the Big People are a professional Funk/Soul Band performing weekly shows all around Toronto, and the GTA including venues such as The Brunswick House, The Rivoli and The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern.
This seven piece band, consisting of Vocals, drums, bass, guitar, organ, alto and tenor saxophones, is sure to "Bring the Funk." Playing original Soul, Funk and Jazz, crafted by seven Jazz Performance Majors from York University; Jace P & the Big People are everything you want for entertainment. Playing music that surpasses any age demographic and is inspired by seven different musical backgrounds, the Big People demonstrate remarkable musicianship creating a lasting groove!
Jace P & the Big People are working hard to get their name out there, playing numerous charity shows, for organizations such as the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Robbie International Soccer Tournament Charity, and MusicFest, donating money to numerous Boy's Homes and Food Banks in Toronto.
Members hailing from all over the globe, as far as Athens, Greece and as close to home as Pickering, Ontario, this seven piece band led by Jace P. comes together in great chemistry to create music that brings you back, takes you forward, and keeps you in the moment!
