About The Big Secret

The Big Secret was started in 2004 by Amity Fletcher to bridge the gaping chasm between the gigging singer songwriter and the professional music industry. We provide a venue, a superb quality PA, a first rate sound engineer and a well promoted show which is frequently an industry hunting ground. Aside from all this, we like to fuse live art work with live music and to this end we are fortunate enough to have Galen as part of the team, drawing and live projecting every moment of every show. Currently operating out of Ginglik, London't hippest night spot in the converted subterranean public lavatories on Shepherds Bush Green, West London, The Big Secret takes place every Wednesday night with a view to expansion and musical world domination very soon. So at long last the new album “Indigo” is ready and is being released on 16th June. It’s all a bit last minute but we have managed to secure a swanky venue in Soho for a launch party and hope that you can all make it there to help celebrate our second offering. The new album will be available at the show at a discounted price and we will be joined by at least one other act for the night. The Froods will play an hour set, containing much of the new album and a few “oldies” thrown in too. The doors open at 7PM and entry price is £FREE, with doors closing at 10pm. The venue is The Green Carnation, 5 Street, Soho. We hope to see you there! Stay hoopy

Yessum we’re back. after the monstrous success of Jackson’s Boat, we thought it only right and proper to offer you another helping of profoundly good music in a great venue. We’ve got a rosette for best zombie in show, beer and food from the nice folks at Jam Street and noise from Stumblefunk. Another co-promo with the brains and muscle that brought Beats, Roots & Leaves back in May - this time tho we de-camp indoors to make the most of the Halloween theme inside a church, with face painters, ghost hunters, a bar provided by Jam Street and a fabulous line-up of musical tricker treats: Na Zdrove Na Zdrove is Sheffield's finest Balkan Beats, Gypsy Brass, Russian Ska, Gypsy Dub, Klezmer and Gypsy Punk night. blimey.
