About THE BIRN

The Berklee Internet Radio Network (BIRN) is a commercial-free internet radio station broadcast from two windowless cells in a heavily guarded dormitory by a small group of student musicians who have absolutely nothing to distract them from bringing you the best new music and commentary.

On Channel 1, Student-Operated Radio broadcasts rock, pop, blues, celtic, funk, latin, classical, soul, electro/ambient, new wave, indie, punk, psychobilly, hardcore, comedy, HipHop, Gospel, R&B and talk. Berklee students are strongly encouraged to participate in this unique broadcast community. Please stop by F12 of the 22 Fenway building every Wednesday from 6-8 PM to let your voice be heard!

We first met Aishu last summer while conducting an in-service for the five-week program and she carries the unique distinction of being the youngest person accepted at Berklee College of Music.
