Take it from us, The Birthdays are great. Just great. They play songs. They move around while doing so. I mean, what else can a band really do? It’s all The Birthdays do anyway, and they’re great at it. And they’re getting greater. Honest Johnson, they are getting even greater. We’ve seen it with our very own peepers and heard it with our very own poppers. The Birthdays meet weekly to decide what to do next. Once a consensus is reached, any member of the band has the authority to completely sabotage that course of action just agreed upon moments ago. When The Birthdays play shows they are proud to boast a loyal following of fans, who used to be mere friends or family. After a set, when the stage lights are dimmed and an ipod’s endless stream channels back softly through the PA, The Birthdays greet these familiar faces with sincere gratefulness, hoping that it was worth it for them.
