Pretty much everything on the 'Ed Banger' label (especially SebastiAn) and most other French electro, Kissy Sell Out, Erol Alkan, Trentemoller, Burial, Dirty South, The Cut Up Boys, Soulwax, Scratch Perverts.... I could go on.

Errr..... turn ur volume up and find out! but for the hearing impaired....it sounds like electro and/or drum and bass. or a bit like a dentist’s drill going to town inside ur skull.
The Bitter Pill is the stage-name for me: bedroom DJ Alex Prentice; hailing from rural England, but currently living in Britain’s second city - Birmingham.
Having always had a strong interest in music, and being classically trained in piano, the move to Electro began with the incredibly ’legal’ acquisition of Ableton Live. This genius bit of software confined me to my room for hours at a time as I tweaked with sounds, usually coming up with tunes that sounded like a cat caught in a meat-grinder. And not in a good way.
After becoming involved with the electro scene in Birmingham and helping to run a student night which booked the likes of Erol Alkan, Shy FX, Shapeshifters, David Guetta and Bodyrox to name a few I got a taste for the electro and house music.
Since then I’ve come to love anything that sounds good and/or pushes genre boundaries. The stuff I produce is pretty minimal, but that’s probably just another way of saying ’I dunno how to make it sound any better’. Some of my stuff is set to be used in an upcoming feature film, so thats nice!
I’m always looking out for new sounds and types of music, so I’m trying to keep up a blog of bands and artists I think might be the next big thing. And if they’re not, hopefully someout there will agree with me and find a new favorit artist. If not, at least I tried!
