Brandon Jenkins A.K.A (B.JENKINS) began rapping at age 12 with the intent to become a marque in the entertainment world. He began recording verses on his karaoke machine over his favorite beats and began his journey. By the age of 15 he was actively on the battle scene and releases two small budget releases intended for demo use only. After blazing threw the battle rap and freestyle scene of the 2000's he sought a bigger challenge in becoming a statewide recognized artist to further become a nationwide artist. At 15 years old he sought out a label and a producer to get the ball rolling. He sought ASTRAY of self made recordings based out of Saginaw, Michigan. With nothing but a dream and some cash he got a hold of Astray who signed him to a one album deal and told him his business ideas and they began working on his first solo LP ''Right Where I Wanna Be''. The CD would be the first to explore Astray as a producer as he produced all the tracks on the album and made several guest appearances. ''Right Where I Wanna Be'' was released in the summer of 2006 and has to date sold over 2,000 copies nationwide(Which features such cuts as ''Do It Like Me, Drop It Low''). Content with the success of his first album, B.Jenkins sought bigger things with the needing of touring and the right promotion. As 2007 rolled on B.Jenkins knew this was the year to put in work if he wanted to achieve success. He began the year with a bang announcing his next album ''Put Em 2 Rest'' and promising dozens of shows. In may of 2007, Astray and B.Jenkins collaborated and released the song ''All My Ladies'' which was the summer's blockbuster song. Not to mention ''Drop It Low'' has received significant airtime on XM Radio's ''The Heat''. What really sets the kid apart from his peers is his ''Hard work, No Play'' Attitude which he lives by. One to always put business first in his live and Play second. At seventeen years old it's hard to come by a more determined individual then B.Jenkins. His pose and stature he carries on stage as it seems like he effortlessly rocks the mic and warm up the crowd has been a wake-up call to the industry. Rapper's such as The Ying Yang Twins, Bizarre Of D12, King Gordy,MC Breed, Project Born and Paul Wall have all called upon B.Jenkins to open for there shows. With 2007 almost over and 2008 upon use we only expect nothing but the best from the youngest in charge. With a brand new album, a movie, a clothing line, a nationwide tour looming on the horizon, and Radio and Television. B.Jenkins has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.
