Eric- lead vocals- This guy is the heart of the band and the most powerful frontman a band could have. The guys does it all, from singing to great stage performances. His influences include bands such as, The Agony Scene, Dimmu Borgir, Hate Eternal, Cradle Of Filth, Skinless, Falling Cycle, Danzig, The Black Dahlia Murder, and many more. These are his influences but hed like to say that his biggest influence is God.
Randy G. -Bass- while hes the youngest guy in the band you wouldnt be able to tell, theres no lack of responsebility from his end what so ever when it comes to the band and for his love of the music. Iron Maiden could be said to be his biggest influence, but bands like Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, and Metallica are in there as well.
Dre -Drums- For the style of music that we play Dre is the best man for the job, hands down. Reliable, creatative, hard hitting, and most of all just a great band member to have. While being heavily influenced by metal he also listens to Hip Hop, Rap, and bands like Coheed and Cambria, and Saosin... We all know its Pantera, Killswitch Engage, End This Day that really brings the thunder in his playing.
ALF -Lead Guitar - coming from bands which are totally different from Black Aria's style of playing, Alf is not one to look down upon. A serious musician with an overabundance of dedication and motivation. Believe me, when it comes to delivering this guy packs a punch! with vast influences which range from Sepultura, Death, Slayer to Wolfpack, Driller Killer, Nausea and Doom. One of the most kickback and easy going person you will ever get to meet but when it comes to music, this FOO dont Play! He would like to say that his family and homies are his main support groups which allow him to deliver a lethal Dosage which will make the audience bang their heads violently!
Rob V. -Lead Guitar- Last but not least is Rob. Most of his strength for his playing and love for the music comes from his Mother and daughter who he says are the greatest influences he coud ever have. Grab a beer, sit down with him and ask him his influences... he will talk to you about it for hours. Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhodes, Dimebag Darrell Abott runs through this guys veins ever since he was kid... Yeah Rob, we know, weve heard it all before.. thats a metal head for you.
BLACK ARIA formed in the summer of 2005 with METAL in there hearts and the hopes of everyone, young and old to unite and bring back the music that they loved to hear. Each member of this band brings a unique twist to the music that they play and will strive for nothing but the best when it comes down. They have all been playing from 4-7 years and are ready to leave The City Of Angels to let the masses know that there is metal to be heard.
Heavy Metal!! Thats what Black Aria is. The music in itself is a premium blend of thrash, death metal with a melodic twist, as well earth shaking bass lines, gut peircing vocals, fiery guitar solos and wicked drum blast that will make you ears bleed. The influences of the band are all different, raging from bands as old as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica to new bands like Children Of Bodom, Hate Eternal, Trivium.
Were just a group of metal heads that are still carrying the torch for the music that we love to play as well as listen to. Beer chuging, smoking, Black Label Society listenin, wild time having, society dwelling mother fuckers who are all great lovers might I add!! :-) ( THATS RIGHT LADIES).
