Black Hat Band is one of Canberras premier bands. Featuring the Black Horns with sax and trumpet as well as guitar, bass, harmonica and drums the Hats pump out a wide variety of rock, rhythm, soul and blues.
DJ & The KarismaKatz will feature live-to-air this Saturday, midday-1pm, as part of ArtSound FM 92.7 and 90.3’s largest fundraising event of the year, the "88 Key's To Happiness" Radiothon. Help ArtSound FM continue providing Canberra's best arts and music radio! This year's focus is to raise funds towards the purchase of a YAMAHA C6 grand piano, as well as the station's general operations. The goal is to raise $35,000 over 10 days with the support of new and existing members. In addition, ArtSound will be 'selling' the 88 Keys of the YAMAHA grand piano for at least $200 each! Key contributors will have their name engraved on a metal plate and displayed on a plaque modeled after a keyboard. This will be proudly displayed near the ArtSound recording studio. Note: as every music lover knows, Middle C is a very important key. ArtSound FM will also be offering key contributors the chance to bid for Middle C once they have purchased their first key.
