The Black Hundred is Nick Pledge, Sean Albers and James McGauran. Russell Fawcus played Violin live sometimes, and on recordings. Everyone has played in lots of bands before. Oneironaut, The Grand Silent System, Season, Clann Zu, School of Emotional Engineering. The Black Hundred is a band by and for ourselves first and foremost. We make music because we dig music, and that music will be coming to you soon in a format we all love... Vinyl.
The Black Hundred album was recorded at Head Gap studios by Nao Anzai in December 2007. The band then took a 7 month hiatus.
Now as 2008 reaches its final quarter, the band return. How long til the album sees the light of day? There are no certainties. But good things take time, and there's no doubt that this one has been brewing quite awhile.
