The Blackjack Kings were conceived in the City of Chicago, (on Superior street to be exact). After having sought a solid rhythm section for nearly a year and a half, the band took on bassist Brian Quinn and drummer Kevin Jones (KJ). With a tight funk/rock groove orientated rhythm section, a different shade has been cast on the sound of this hard rock/blues-metal band. Each member posseses their own dynamic, which they craftily blend with one another. The Blackjack Kings blend rock, metal, blues, and funk. An interesting recipe for the sound of a different type of rock ‘n’ roll.
Thanks for adding Thunder Mountain Rockfest, a three-day outdoor rock festival July 8-10, 2010!! Please visit www.rockdakota.com or call 1-877-205-3792 for more information.
Hey, I just wanted to stop by to show you two of our new songs, "Almost Famous" and "She's Got It." If you get a chance, we'd love to hear what you think about the music. ..
Yaaaaaaay! I knew you guys wouldn't let THIS little fanboy down. Oh my god thank you for not breaking up. I was seriously unsettled when I thought the band was breaking up because the name was just Christopher. Thank devils that your still the BJKings. I seriously am xxxcited!! Keep whacking out some good beats guys! Kisses!!
HELLooooo!! What is upo with you guys?? I miss your tuneys so I JUST CAME to your page to listen to them, only to find that the music player is sad, and he doesn't want to work. That poor little fella. I got worried when I noticed that the profile name is CHRISTopher. Did the BJKings break up or something? I hope not. I hope that this perfect combination of music talent is still making music and pulling out some juicy sounds with eachother. You guys are one of my favorite bands in the past year and have inspired me to change some things in my life and to be more artistic. Your music has changed my life in such a sexual way that I cannot explain. And I'm also taking responibility of my kids because of the song "I'll be back" Let me know the dealio, christophelioooo. Or whoever comes on here. Thanks men!! Goodnighty night! MWA!! <3
Jeesus Christ I love you guys. Theres nothing more awesome then 4 local guys gathering around eachother and playing with their instruments. Oh the memories you release. Thank you for the great music. As soon as I get enough money I'm seriously coming to a show and hanging out with you guys. I wanna hear that new song played live at the concert. I'll see you around rocking hard!! Keep it up!!
Yo, What's good, man? Yeah you guys rock. Whoever it is singing can really wale! Good sound. You seem (at least for that song) to be bringing back real rock. Keep it going.
