The Black Notes are a jazz/funk band out of New Orleans. The members consist of Andrew Burglass(guitar), Julian Labat(piano), Jasen Weaver(bass) and band founder Charles Burchell(drums). Additional members include Tyler Ginsberg(trombone), Oliver Bonie(alto saxophone), Devin Kerrigan( tenor saxophone), Patrice Stark ( tenor saxophone),Miles Labat(drums), James Darbe IV (trumpet), Johnny Darbe (alto saxophone), Nelson Boles (alto saxophone), Denzel Smith (guitar), Robert Ramson (alto saxophone) and Maurice Williams(trombone/piano).
The band began in the summer of 2004 and started playing gigs at private parties and in the spring of 2005 they played at the famous Tipitina's night club in New Orleans. Smaller gigs followed that summer until August 2005 when Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast and dispersed the members of The Black Notes to various places in the United States.
During the three months that followed the band was kept in tact through Charles, Julian and Jasen. In January of 2006 the band as reunited and picked up where they left off. Later that spring they would make an appearance on WWOZ where they played a full set. Since then they have continued playing private parties and are now at the end of a long term gig in the French Quater.

I just never put two and two together until he explained it all to me, I did see his johnson and yes, it is huge, monster huge, the thickest and longest one I ever seen.
